New Cosmetic Hall
We have completed a scheduled re-fit of our Cosmetic Hall. The stunning new Hall, Beauty Salon and Treatment rooms will provide the foundation for Ballantynes to be the number one beauty destination for the city. The Cosmetic Hall now boasts 24 beauty houses and additional international cosmetic brands such as Kiehls, MECCA and Dermalogica. It is sure to impress!
Fashion Floor
A new Paula Ryan concept, fabulous European brand Gerry Weber along with other European Fashion and Witchery Kids will all enhance our first floor fashion offer.
Contemporary Lounge
Our Contemporary Lounge temporarily sits alongside our main store as part of Re:Start on the previous Guthrey Centre site; home to designer fashion brands such as G-Star, Armani, Ben Sherman, Witchery Man, Ketz-ke and Karen Walker to name a few.
Mimco, a leading fashion label for handbags, jewellery, shoes and fashion accessories, is now also situated opposite the Contemporary Lounge on the former Whitcoulls site.
RE:START, CITY MALL
Re:start is an innovative pop-up retail concept in City Mall. Showcasing in a range of specialty fashion and gift stores amongst two well known cafes. An entertainment are will also host numerous musical acts through out the Summer months.

PARKING & ACCESS
Ease of access and parking in the central city is important to Ballantynes and our customers.
- There will be over 240 ground-level carparks opposite Ballantynes on the south side of Lichfield Street.
- 200 carparks off Hereford Street (at the back of the terrace).
- 200 carparks on the corner of Oxford Terrace and City Mall.
- Lichfield Street will remain as a one-way Street.
- There will be a right hand turn from Lichfield Street into Colombo Street.
- The Bus Exchange will be operating on Lichfield Street.
Our two temporary structures provide entrance ways off Lichfield Street, one allows you to walk into our Christmas Shop, Citta and French Country concepts. The other will lead you into JB’s Cafe, Pantry and Cookware.
You may also access Ballantynes via City Mall Cashel Street entrances and Colombo Street entrances.
