MisteR is a New Zealand made boutique fashion brand, designing exclusively for men. We believe its time that guys had a brand they can call their own, not just an offshoot of a womenswear brand, but a true Menswear Brand.

Approaching fashion from the angle of tailoring and quality, each piece is uniquely structured and fitted like a Made to Measure garment. MisteR prides itself on the quality of its product and sees this as a very important element. From the standards of manufacturing and pressing to the buttons and thread, only the best quality materials are sourced and using strictly 100% natural fibre fabrics such as Wool, Cotton and Silk improves the quality, longevity and feel of the clothing.

MisteR's style combines classic European chic and fit, with the fun and quirkiness seen in Asian fashion. Jackets and Shirts are fitting and cut into the waist to give men a modern, slim European look and steer them away from the boring boxy fit of old. As seen in Asian design, MisteR combines classic traditional patterns and fabrics with unexpected colour, intricate detail and quirky features.

The goal of MisteR is to get men away from mass production and encourage them to appreciate clothing by creating their own individual style. To inspire this individuality all the clothing is made in Limited Edition quantities. Every style has only a few garments made and each individual piece is numbered so you know which one you have and how many were made.

Our home, Aotearoa, is very important to MisteR, which is why we source most of our materials from NZ wholesalers and all manufacturing is done by NZ companies. This means we are keeping our/your money within NZ and helping local people, business and industry, which in the long run can only benefit our community and our homeland. Part of loving our home is caring for our environment and MisteR is always seeking organic fabrics and recycled trims for its clothing.
