What Credit Cards can I pay with?
We accept all Major Credit Cards. Visa, Mastercard, Diners Club and Amercian Express.

 

Can I pay by credit over the phone?
Yes, call 0800 656 400 and ask for Customer Services. They will process the details for you and forward a receipt if required.

 

Unfortunately we no longer accept cheques for Internet orders. If you would like to pay for an order using a cheque please call 0800 656 400.

Can I pay my account by Direct Debit?
Yes, for more information contact Customer Services on 0800 656 400 or download and complete the Direct Debit form.

Can I pay by internet or telebanking?
Yes, for more information check the internet and telebanking details here.

Can I pay my Ballantynes account via the Ballantynes website?
No, but you can pay by Internet Banking through your bank, for more information contact Customer Services on 0800 656 400.

How can I take advantage of GST free Shopping at Ballantynes?
Providing you are flying Internationally out of Christchurch you can purchase items GST free from our store. All we need from you are your flight details and a contact at your final destination, you can then collect your purchase at our 'Gallery' shop, located in the International Departure lounge before you board the plane. Please note, Air Safety Restrictions apply to any tax exempt purchases and all purchases are carry-on luggage so size restrictions do apply.

Where are Ballantynes stores located?
Ballantynes Christchurch store is located in City Mall, Christchurch. Ballantynes Timaru is located on Stafford Street, Timaru. We also have a store located in the international departure lounge at Christchurch International Airport.

Can I pay gift cards onto my account?
Yes, you can use gift cards to pay your account. Payments can be made at Ballantynes Timaru or by calling Customer Services on 0800 656 400.

Do Ballantynes sell vouchers for overseas department stores?
Presently you can purchase David Jones Gift Cards from us in denominations of $10 AUD, $20 AUD and $50 AUD. These can be purchased by calling Customer Service on 0800 656 400.

Will my shopping cart remember items added to it?
No - your online shopping cart will be emptied if you close your browser, logout from your account or your computer is left inactive for a long time. There are security reasons for this which aim to keep your personal information and payment details safe.

How secure is the Shop Online?
Ballantynes Online Shopping uses an internationally recognised encryption protocol to encrypt all personal data that you type into our site before it travels across the internet. Once we receive your data it is stored on a secure server behind Ballantynes firewalls, so that your personal details are not accessible from the internet by a third party.
