Ballantynes Branch in Timaru was established in 1883 and moved to its present site in 1913. New premises were opened in 1986, and the shop extended into the first floor of this building in 2006.

All Departments found in the Christchurch Shop are represented there, and all products advertised online or in Ballantynes Catalogues is available through the Branch.
